Notice of Suspension/Delisting – Quality Control Laboratories

Notice of Suspension/Delisting – Quality Control Laboratories

The aim of publishing a Notice of Suspension or Delisting is to inform stakeholders of concerns regarding a quality control laboratory’s compliance with WHO-recommended quality standards for pharmaceutical quality control laboratories. The publication serves to promote transparency and to remind laboratories of their obligation to maintain robust quality management systems aligned with international norms and standards.

While a Notice of Suspension/Delisting does not necessarily indicate an immediate public health risk, it highlights that corrective action is required. WHO will continue to monitor the situation, and the laboratory’s listing status will only be reconsidered once full compliance with the relevant standards has been demonstrated and verified.
